The Photographer
About
Photography has taught me to express the contrasts I see. Not only in light, but also in society. My work explores the unspoken and sometimes uncomfortable realities of everyday life, not to tell people what to think, but to invite reflection.
Working across portraiture and scenery, I document both the individuals living these realities and the environments that shape them. While the images may confront difficult subjects, they are made with respect for the privacy, dignity and humanity of those photographed.
By bearing witness to these moments, the work invites viewers to reflect on the ways in which people are shaped by the circumstances and environments they inhabit.
